Link Crew - 9th Grade orientation

 

The staff and students of Concord High School Invite the class of 2027 9th Grade/New Student Orientation 8:00am – 12:00pm Friday, August 4th, 2023 In our school gymnasium The purpose of this highly recommended orientation is to make the transition from middle school to high school a positive one. Older students will be serving as leaders and mentors to the 9th graders. Large and small group activities are designed to address students’ needs and concerns in an enjoyable manner. WHAT IS LINK CREW? 

Link Crew is a nationwide program designed to welcome and support 9th graders by connecting them with Link Leaders, who are positive, responsible, hand-selected 11th and 12th graders. Your student’s Link Leaders will help them feel more comfortable as well as help them achieve success in their first year of high school. Doesn’t that sound great? It is! Your student is encouraged not to bring backpacks, purses, or other like items as the day is quite active. Since the day is active, please make sure that your student wears comfortable clothing that does not restrict movement. Cell phone use is forbidden on this day. This is a student only function so we encourage you to let your child attend on their own.
