ADDRESS VERIFICATION INFORMATION

Address verifications are in person only on both Friday, July 24th, between 8 am and 12 noon AND/OR Monday, July 27th, between 2 pm and 6 pm and a Parent or Guardian must be the person bringing in proof (see below for accepted documents). This is NOT Walk Thru but must be done on these two days; it will not be done at Walk Thru

WHO NEEDS TO DO THIS:

ALL Incoming 9th graders need to do Address Verification unless they just enrolled- meaning they have met with the Enrollment Center within the last month or two. 

ALL NEW Intradistrict transfer students must do Address Verification.

ANYONE who has moved since June 5, 2026 and has not yet provided proof of their new address must also do this.

Thank You for your cooperation in this very important matter. 

ACCEPTED DOCUMENTS:

Acceptable documents for proof of residency:
  • Current picture ID of parent/guardian: driver’s license, state issued ID, passport, consulate issued picture ID, voter credential, or military ID.
  • Two of the following (must be from 2 different categories. For families that rent or lease, one item must be the rental property contract or lease and proof of payment):
    1. Rental property contract or  lease
      • Proof of payment is also required when presenting a property contract or lease. 
      • Short term leases such as monthly vacation rental properties are not acceptable proof of lease.  
    2. Utility service contract or statement (PG&E, water, or garbage ONLY)
      • Proof of payment is also required when presenting a utility service contract or statement. 
    3. Correspondence from a government agency
    4. Voter registration
    5. Pay stub
    6. Property tax payment receipt (must include homeowner's exemption)

 All documents submitted must be originals not copies.

Please join us at Walk Thru before the school year starts on AUGUST 8th. Families are encouraged to come with their student(s) and confirm emergency contact info and other data we have on file. Students will get their school photo taken and will be able to activate their digital ID's available through the MINGA app. Schedules and texts will not be distributed until a photo is taken!
